Strategic Planning and Community Assessments

This workshop will guide participants through the process of conducting a Strategic Community Assessment for their organization. Participants will learn the issues involved in conducting a strategic planning process and collecting the necessary data to determine the organization’s future and how it will get there. The morning session will focus on the relationship between organizational mission, internal strengths & weaknesses and external opportunities & threats, while the afternoon session will share actual data and how it can be incorporated into the implementation of your strategic plan.

This workshop was presented under contract with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and The Pratt Institute Center for Community and Environmental Development as well as the NYS Division of Housing and Community Renewal.
