Planning Your Strategy: Community Organizations Take on the New Lead Paint Regulations in NYS

This is not a repeat of the lead-based paint workshops offered this past Spring, but an up-to-the-minute briefing and chance to do some problem-solving and strategizing with your peers. This workshop will cover the latest information on:

  • possible extensions, waivers or other changes in the works;
  • the status of efforts to increase funding for these activities;
  • new training, certifications and other tools needed to implement the rule; and
  • interpretive guidance from HUD.

The workshop will also include a presentation on a local lead-based paint program that is off the ground and running. It will provide CHDOs and potential CHDOs the opportunity to share ideas and strategies that will facilitate the incorporation of these new regulations into your programs.

This workshop presented under contract with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and The Pratt Institute Center for Community and Environmental Development.
