“AFFORDABLY GREEN” Workshop

March 2-3, 2010  in Albany, NY          

March 23-24, 2010 in Rochester, NY

9am-4pm     

This interactive two-day session will provide practical strategies for greening affordable housing.  Presentations, discussions, case studies and an interactive review of current projects will cover the latest issues in greening, the best strategies being employed across the industry, and approaches that can benefit projects of all sizes.    

The training will cover:

  • Measuring Performance
  • Renewable Energy Options
  • Financing Green Projects
  • Long-term Sustainability
  • Lessons Learned

Participants will gain an overall understanding of how to plan and manage a successful rehabilitation project, including the initial building assessment, energy conservation measures and measuring performance.
